Welcome to the Ohio Alternate Assessment Portal
Ohio’s new Alternate Assessment for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities (AASCD) was administered for the first time in spring 2013. The AASCD marks a change in Ohio’s alternate assessment, which previously consisted of a portfolio-based collection of evidence. The AASCD is aligned to Ohio’s Academic Content Standards–Extended (OACS-E) and designed to allow students to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in an appropriately rigorous assessment.
Use this site to access test administration systems, sample tasks, and informational resources. Some users will be granted access to TIDE for the Alternate Assessment, the Data Entry Interface (DEI), or the Online Reporting System (ORS). A brief description of each system can be found in the Portal Fact Sheet. These systems require a username and password to log in. If you need a username and password, contact your District Test Coordinator.
Resources such as FAQs, guidance documents, and fact sheets are organized by user type. Choose your user type and then navigate to the “Resources” card.
