This portal is your source for information about Ohio’s Alternate Assessment for Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities (AASCD).
All AASCD testing must be concluded and all scores must be submitted into the Data Entry Interface (DEI) by Friday, April 14 at 11:59PM. There will be no extensions for any reason. If you have any questions, please consult the resources located on the Alternate Assessment Portal or call the Help Desk at firstname.lastname@example.org or 1-877-231-7809.
As the test window is coming to a close, please submit feedback on your experience with the Spring 2017 AASCD. Please click on the link to complete the Alternate Assessment Survey. Your feedback is valuable and will be used to inform future policies and procedures for the AASCD.
The Spring 2017 AASCD test window is now open, February 21 – April 14. All student scores must be entered into the DEI by 11:59pm, April 14. Failure to submit scores in the DEI will result in no scores being reported. As a reminder, personnel entering student scores into the DEI must be assigned the appropriate user account (TE, TA, or SR).
The Plan and Manage Testing, Test Completion Rates and Test Status Code Reports tasks have moved from the Test Management Center in the Online Reporting System (ORS) to the Monitoring Test Progress task in the Test Information Distribution Engine (TIDE). Test coordinators should use these reports to track the completion rates of students taking the AASCD.
The ORS is now accessible. Student scores for all AASCD tests will be reported in real-time upon test submission in the Score Reports and Retrieve Student Results tasks in ORS.
