Ohio Assessment Systems User Accounts and Resetting Passwords

As a reminder, all Ohio assessment user account passwords have been reset. If you have not done so already, you must follow the steps below to setup your password for the 2019-2020 school year:

    1. Select one of the user cards on the portal.
    2. From the user page, select any available systems card.
    1. On the system login page, click on the link to “Request a new one for this school year.”
    2. Enter the email address that is associated with your user account and click submit.
    3. An email (from AIRAST-DoNotReply@airast.org), which contains a clickable link, will be sent to the email address associated with your account.
    4. Click on the link. You will be directed to a page where you can enter a new password. The link will expire in 15 minutes; if you do not create your new password within 15 minutes you will need to request a new link.
    5. Follow the on-screen prompts to create a new password.

Important: Upon logging into an available assessment system, an “Enter Code” page may appear. An authentication code will automatically be sent to your email address. You must enter this code into the “Enter Emailed Code” field and select the ‘Submit’ button, within five minutes of receiving the authentication code email.

It is recommended that test coordinators review all users for the 2019-2020 school year to ensure personnel have proper access. If a user should no longer have an account, authorized users should follow the process in the TIDE User Guide to remove system access for that user. Additional information on managing user accounts is in the TIDE User Management Guidance Document.

    Test Administrator Certification Courses

The “TA Certified” flag in TIDE has been cleared for all users for the 2019-2020 school year. Users must have a TIDE account in order to access the optional TA Certification Course. TIDE will track which users have completed the course during the 2019-2020 school year. Test coordinators can view the “TA Certified” flag in TIDE under the view/edit manage users task. More information regarding the TA Certification Course is available in the TA Certification Course Companion Document.

Note: The TIDE view/edit manage users task has been updated with a new “TA Alt Certified” flag. Users should look for future communications regarding this new flag.
